ONE of Tyneside’s most popular Italian restaurants is helping families make memories this Mother’s Day.
On Sunday 11 March, Scalini’s, at Great North Road, Gosforth, is putting mums firmly centre stage with Mother’s Day Sunday Lunch menu and a choice of afternoon teas.
And a photographer will also be on hand to provide customers with free pictures of the occasion, which they can treasure forever.
The menu offers a choice of starters, pizzas and pasta dishes with vegetarian and gluten free options along with a choice of traditional Sunday roasts or salads.
Or those with a sweeter tooth can opt for an afternoon tea, with crustless sandwiches, cakes, scones, cream and tea or add some sparkle with a celebratory cocktail or glass of prosecco.
The Sunday lunch menu costs £13.95 for two and £16.95 for three courses while afternoon tea – which must be booked in advance – is priced at £15.95 or £20.95 for the sparkling version.
