New appointments as NGI Solutions continues growth

Insight-led research, marketing, PR and digital agency NGI Solutions has strengthened its team with two key appointments to aide its growth.

The Gateshead-based agency has welcomed Andrew Gibson as head of client engagement and Vicki Grainger as research manager as it focuses on further strengthening its client base and service offering.

Andrew has nearly 20 years’ experience in client development roles in the North East, having joined NGI Solutions from procurement company Creative Tenders. Having started out his career in newspaper sales, he then moved on to work in client development in the creative sector and has a wealth of experience helping clients unlock funding opportunities.

Having worked with some big brands in the North East and throughout the UK, Andrew’s role at NGI Solutions is to continue to enhance the breadth and width of the client base.

Research manager, Vicki, joins NGI Solutions from Dipsticks Research having also previously worked for Yahoo. She has worked on campaign effectiveness research for the likes of Exterion Media, Channel 4 and BBC, as well as managing online ad campaigns for Mediacom, including Sky and eBay.

Vicki will become a key member of the research team who work with the likes of Leeds BID (Business Improvement District), Karbon Homes and Wild in Art. She will become a key contact for clients, support new client development and manage the company’s new digital panel technology.

Established in 2014, NGI Solutions more than tripled its turnover in its first three years, delivering insight-led projects for public and private sector organisations across a range of sectors – from commercial development and tourism to retail and transport.

James Ealey, director at NGI Solutions, said: “It’s great to welcome Andrew and Vicki to support the team with its growth. Both have relevant experience in the sectors that we operate and will be valuable additions to the team.

“We’ve enjoyed a successful couple of years with a significant increase in the width and breadth of our client base. A number of new projects both in the North East and further afield have landed recently, and we have ambitious plans for further growth which Andrew and Vicki will play a crucial role in.”
