Five-star housebuilder, Story Homes, is opening the doors to its Marketing Suite at St Edmund’s Manor in Sedgefield this Saturday 11 November, and will be introducing the first bungalows to feature on any of its 11 North East developments.

Visitors will be able to find out more about the 80-home development – based just off Stockton Road – which includes a range of 14 three, four and five-bedroom family homes.

The three-bedroom detached ‘Banbury’ bungalow has so far been included in a select number of Story Homes’ developments in Cumbria and the North West. As demand has been high, the housebuilder has decided to bring this house type to the North East and has chosen St Edmund’s Manor as the first development to incorporate bungalows.

Gillian Bell, Sales Manager at Story Homes, said: “We are bringing something completely new to the region with St Edmund’s Manor – it includes our first bungalows in the North East and we have received a huge amount of interest in them already. Bungalows are rare on new build developments of this size – especially with such a high specification – but we believe it is important to include them in our schemes in order to meet local housing needs and ensure that we have properties to suit every type of buyer.”

Sharon Brown, Sales Executive for St Edmund’s Manor, added: “Interest in homes at St Edmund’s Manor has remained high since the launch, and we have now sold two thirds of the first release of homes on the first phase. Until now I have been based at our nearby Fallows Park development at Wynyard Park, so I am looking forward to moving on-site at St Edmund’s Manor and welcoming visitors to our new Marketing Suite.”

In addition to bringing new homes to Sedgefield, the development is creating employment opportunities for local contractors and further economic benefits for the area. Story Homes will also be making financial contributions towards local education and sports facilities as part of its commitment to supporting the communities that surround its developments.

Prices at St Edmund’s Manor start from £314,950. For those who reserve a home on this development this weekend, Story Homes will provide £1000 of options vouchers that buyers can use to upgrade and personalise aspects of their new home.
