Newcastle Building Society has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award by the readers of the UK’s leading mortgage market magazine for the second year running.The Newcastle has been chosen as one of six nominees for Regional Building Society of the Year at the 2015 What Mortgage Awards.
Voted for by consumers, the What Mortgage Awards have been running for more than 20 years and aim to recognise and reward the very best businesses in the UK mortgage and associated personal finance market.
Voting on the Award winners will carry on until mid-June, with the winners announced later in the summer.
With a 30-strong branch network, Newcastle Building Society is the North East’s biggest building society, and the eighth largest in the UK. It has assets under management in excess of £3.6 billion, and employs around 900 people.
