A national property management company headquartered in the North East is celebrating its expansion, bringing fresh job creation to the region.

The national property management company Town & City Management Ltd has increased the number of its employees over the last year by 37%, welcoming 11 new members of staff as part of their continuing business expansion, and this trend is set to continue well into the future as their portfolio of properties expands.

Over the last eight years, the Darlington-based company has carefully expanded beyond the North East to include new areas of operation in Leeds, London and Bournemouth. They have become leading specialists in residential apartment block management and now manage a portfolio of 310 developments across the country, a figure which remains steadily on the rise.

“We are delighted to welcome our newest members of staff to the team,” says Peter Bigge, Managing Director of Town & City Management Ltd. “Town & City have a reputation for delivering first-rate Property Management Services for leasehold developments both large and small, and the exceptional reputation that we have built up over many years is in no small part due to the tremendous ongoing quality and commitment of our staff. We recognise that our employees are a fundamental part of enabling us to function to the best of our ability.”

The acquisition of Town & City’s extra staff members has increased the company’s resources at their head office in Darlington, and also at their newest office in Bournemouth, which opened in autumn 2016. Their chief aim has been to appoint new members of staff placed at strategically important positions across the country to ensure that all their properties are reachable within an hour of at least one staff member.

Being renowned for their quality of service, the company has also been shortlisted for four awards at the national Property Management Awards 2017 at the end of this month.
