The managing director of Newcastle-based travel business Northern Secrets received a prestigious accolade at the recent 2016 Group Travel Awards.
Alex Jacobs was the recipient of an award recognising “The Development of Incoming Group Visitors to the UK”, for the work that Alex and his company Northern Secrets undertakes in promoting the UK overseas and bringing over 7000 people to the region every year.

The 20th UK Group Travel Awards took place on Friday 3rd June, at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, London where almost 400 travel trade professionals attended the glittering gala presentation evening hosted by Christopher Biggins. The Group Travel Awards are decided by the readers of GTO magazine and have earned a reputation as the most distinguished and respected event serving the group travel market.
