Ascent Homes, Northumberland’s newest house builder, is enjoying a considerable boost in sales across its sites in Newbiggin, Blyth and Alnwick, reporting its busiest month to date in March.

At Windsor View in Newbiggin by the Sea, a stunning coastal development offering homebuyers unrivalled views of the bay, only one property now remains from an original 24 beachfront homes.  The Newsham, a two-bedroom semi-detached where open plan living is a key feature, is ideal for a couple or a first family home.

On the outskirts of Blyth, overlooking the Blyth Golf Course, only ten homes remain from an original 26 at the Plessey Green development.  Here, The Epsom, a two-bedroom semi-detached, The Silverdale and the largest home on this site, The Crofton, which is a three bed detached home, provide a home to suit every type of lifestyle.

At The Maltings, in Alnwick, which only launched in late January, sales are also brisk, with only five apartments now remaining from phase one’s original 11 units.  The collection of buildings, formerly known as Alnwick Brewery and Malthouse, are being lovingly restored and innovatively re-imagined in a multi-million pound refurbishment programme to create a range of high specification luxury apartments and penthouses.

Targeted to sell 200 homes per year, recent success would indicate that Ascent is well on its way to achieving this goal, as Head of Sales and Marketing, Claire Scott, comments:

“Footfall has been huge in March and we are delighted with the way things are going.  In just one week, we had eight completions and are really pleased about the way our housing developments are being received by the public.  Our Newbiggin scheme has been particularly popular and our shortlisting by the RICS for an award in its residential category, which recognises outstanding residential developments and their successful innovative design, is another indication that we are producing the kind of homes that people really aspire to live in.”

Site offices will be open over Easter from ThursdayMonday, 10am – 5pm. For more information visit
