ONE of Tyneside’s top venues is putting the fizz into Fridays with special deals for customers.
Every Friday, Osbornes, Osborne Road, Jesmond, is offering a £5 discount on full size bottles of Champagne and Prosecco and selling its renowned peach bellini cocktails at just £5 each.
Fizz fans will also be able to snap up mini, 20cl, bottles of Prosecco for just £5.
The Friday offer is one of a range of daily deals introduced by the venue to kick start the summer season and is followed two days later by the Sunday Social.
Available throughout the day, it entitles diners who buy any burger or hot dog to add a bottle of Coors Light or a Coke product for just £1.
In addition, Osbornes is implementing £2 Tuesdays, with selected food and drink priced at just £2 from 7pm onwards, while student card holders can also enjoy a 25 per cent discount off all burgers and hot dogs throughout the day.
Burgers are made from either 100 per cent ground beef or chicken breast fillet, with toppings ranging from BBQ pulled pork and pepperoni to hot beef chilli with sour cream and guacamole.
Hot dogs include the traditional US version with onions, tomato ketchup and American mustard and a Chilli Cheese Dog with beef chilli, jalapeño, cheese, salsa and soured cream.
All burgers and hot dogs come with skinny fries, although sweet potato fries and hand cut chips can be substituted for an additional charge.
Osbornes is open seven days a week, from 10am to 11pm.
