Pickerings Lifts, based in Stockton-on-Tees, has appointed a new member of staff to their growing Escalator business.
Lee Thompson has accepted the role of Assistant Customer Support Manager for Escalators, with his responsibilities including programming repair work, managing quotations and repairs, liaising with customers and helping with the day-to-day management of the office and engineers.
Prior to Pickerings Lifts, Lee served 25 years in the Army, first as a Vehicle Mechanic and then a Workshop Manager at Catterick Garrison.
Shaun Lister, Customer Support Manager for Escalators at Pickerings Lifts said: “I’m delighted to welcome Lee to the team. He comes to the role with a lot of engineering experience and managerial knowledge and I look forward to working with him to grow the business in the months and years to come.”
