A long-established specialist printing firm is moving into a new phase after completing its latest rebrand and investing in new online resources.Large Print Works specialises in the production of large format images onto various substrates and sizes, and offers a complete service from Customers artwork, print and production technologies through to finishing and installation
The Ouseburn-based firm predominantly works in the business-to-business sector, as well as with advertising and marketing agencies, and lists well-known names including DFDS, Nexus, Newcastle City Council, Arup and Virgin Money in its client base.
Large Print Works has invested £20,000 in upgrading its e-commerce capabilities, and now offers a fully customisable and segmented product range through itswww.largeprintworks.co.uk website, a move it expects to help it increase the revenues it generates from outside the North East.
Originally established in 1988 as a photo processing firm, the company’s services and operations have evolved as traditional printing methods gave way to digital formats, and has now fully rebranded from its former trading name of The Rip to provide clarity on the services it provides.
Nine people are currently employed by Large Print Works, a number which managing director John Laidler, who founded the original business, hopes will grow in the future.
