Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Residents asked to help shape Council Services

Screen Shot 2015-09-14 at 16.43.49More than 4,000 residents in North Tyneside are being invited to help North Tyneside Council shape the local area and improve services.

From yesterday (September 14), postal questionnaires were being sent to 4,350 households across the borough, asking for residents’ feedback.

North Tyneside Elected Mayor, Norma Redfearn, said: “The annual Residents’ Survey is a very important way of letting us know the views of local residents.

“These views help us to develop and improve our services as well as the local area.

“I’d ask all households who receive a questionnaire to take the time to complete it – the more we receive, the better picture we’ll have of the views of residents.”

Households selected to take part in the survey are chosen at random and all feedback remains anonymous and confidential.

Households have until Friday 30 October to complete and return their questionnaire in the pre-paid envelope provided.

The survey is being managed on behalf of the council by the independent research company, Ipsos Mori.
