Rockliffe Hall’s sumptuous five-star spa is celebrating National Spa Week from this Monday (31st October) to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The special week is organised by the UK Spa Association to raise awareness of the many health benefits of spa use while raising money for a good cause.

To encourage people who may have never visited a spa before, Rockliffe Hall is running a range of initiatives from Tuesday 1stNovember.

·       There will be a fundraising raffle at two Festive Beauty Bazaar events on Tuesday with lots of great prizes up for grabs.

·       An expert from Caudalie, the latest beauty range to be introduced at Rockliffe Hall, will be offering mini facials in the Spa Boutique on Wednesday from 9am to 1pm for a donation to Macmillan.

·       Poolside mini treatments will be available on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday also for a donation.

·       Introduce a friend to a Spa Day for free. From Monday to Friday only, during National Spa Week, Rockliffe Hall is running a special ‘You Deserve It Spa Day for Two’. Bring your friend along for free and enjoy a half day spa each with a coffee and cake. You will enjoy one 45-minute facial included in your day for the total price of £85. If your non-spa goer friend wants to try a facial too, you can upgrade your day for an extra £70 to include an additional 45-minute treatment for them as well.

Rockliffe Hall also has specially-trained therapists on hand to ensure all treatments and facilities are suitable for those affected by cancer.

Spa Manager at Rockliffe Hall, Victoria Rickett, says: “Latest research by the UK Spa Association reveals that less than 8% of people visit spas and are unaware of the many wellbeing benefits. We hope that, by organising a range of unusual events, special offers and ‘treats’- we can de-mystify spas and entice more people to prioritise their wellbeing.”
