Sara has pledged her support to the Christmas at the Cathedral concert in Newcastle’s St Nicholas Cathedral on Tuesday 15th December by sponsoring part of the event that will raise much-needed funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Sara started her business, Sara Eke Recruitment Ltd, in Tynemouth 12 years ago and moved north to Rock in 2009 where she now works with clients from the Borders to Teesside with the majority of her work coming from Northumberland and North and South Tyneside.

The star filled Christmas concert includes Lindisfarne’s Billy Mitchell, The Swing Bridge Singers, up and coming singer songwriter Olivia Devine from Tyneside, girl barber pop group Scarlet Street, actress Val Mclane and transgender actress Rebecca Root from the hit BBC drama Boy Meets Girl. The show is produced by ex Lindisfarne drummer Ray Laidlaw and more names are due to be announced soon.

“I love Christmas but I’m very aware that not everyone sees it as a happy time,” said Sara. “I think this is a very worthwhile cause and I’m glad to be helping in what ever way I can.”

The concert, which is primarily sponsored by Benfield, will include performances from popular entertainers, choirs with traditional carols and festive readings. Tickets (£15) are selling well and are available from Newcastle City Hall box office on 0191 277 8030 or online at www.newcastlecityhall.org . Any companies wishing to support the event either through sponsorship or by VIP ticket packages, should email jonathanwallis@georgefwhite.co.uk
