Tapas at the Beach HouseDiners are being given a final chance to enjoy a taste of sunny Spain with a special event in Sunderland next week.

Following a series of sell-out nights throughout the summer, The Beach House, Sunderland, will be hosting its last tapas evening of the year on Friday September 25.

Visitors to the event, run by 1879 Events Management, can select up to six dishes from an array of authentic options, including salt and pepper squid, meatballs in tomato piparade and chicken marinated in lemon, oregano, garlic and pimenton.

A wide range of vegetarian alternatives are also being offered, including Spanish tortilla, garlic and paprika potato wedges, vegetable empanadas and roasted pepper salad with marinated tomatoes and olives.

David Moses, General Manager at 1879 Events Management, which operates The Beach House said: “Our tapas nights have been a huge success throughout the summer and we’re delighted to offer diners one final chance to enjoy a taste of sunny Spain on the Sunderland coast this September.”

Tapas En La Casa De Playa (Tapas at The Beach House) is priced at £14.50 per person for four dishes and £17 per person for six, with additional items priced at £3 each.

All diners will also receive a complimentary plate of traditional Spanish cured meats, served with mixed olives, Manchego cheese, olive oil, ciabatta and a sherry vinegar dip, as well as a reception drink and bread and olives served on arrival.
