A North East accountancy practice has expanded its corporate finance team to help satisfy increasing demand for its services.

Baldwins, a CogitalGroup company, has appointed experienced dealmaker, Graham Cornforth, as the new corporate finance director of the firm’s North East team.

Having qualified and worked for one of the Big Four, and with almost 20 years’ experience working with entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses, Graham is passionate about helping clients realise their ambitions.

At Baldwins, he will be responsible for advising on a range of transactional work, including structuring and negotiating management buyouts, business disposals and corporate acquisitions.

He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in advising clients on equity and debt fundraising projects and Graham has an enviable track record of success when helping clients secure grant support for high growth projects.

Following the appointment of a new director, there are now five in the North East corporate finance team and the firm is looking to increase this number to seven in the near future.
