STOCKTON on Tees residents are invited to a Dementia Awareness Week charity 5k walk along the Tees Barrage.
Residents, staff and families from Ingleby and Mandale House Care Homes, both part of the Hill Care Group, will take part and collect funds for Dementia UK.
The walk starts at 2pm on Wednesday, 18th May. Carol Singleton, manager at Ingleby Care Home, which organised the event, said: “Dementia Awareness Week runs from the 15th to 21st May and is something we celebrate each year with our residents.
“This year, we’re raising funds for Dementia UK and we’d welcome anyone who would like to join us on the walk around Tees Barrage.
“Alternatively, we can take donations at the care home, if anyone wanted to pop in and pledge their support.”
