Durham residents have the opportunity to spring-clean their finances at a free event this month.
East Durham Homes are inviting tenants to their ‘Finance and Wellbeing Event’ on Wednesday, 9 March at Earl House Community Centre in Seaham.
Customer Involvement Officer, Carole Tilley, is encouraging people to drop-in any time between 10am and 1pm.
She said: “We understand how the current economic climate has put a strain on some customers’ finances, so this is a real opportunity for people to talk to a range of support services that could make a difference to someone’s everyday life.
“From debt advice, to making sure people are getting the best energy deal, and information on accessing available benefits, attending could have a real impact on the purse-strings.”
Additional agencies that provide support to carers and those affected by disease and illness will also be on hand.
