The three wishes you should make when seeking a VoIP supplier

If you are looking for a UK based VoIP reseller supplier, you probably have three simple wishes: That their services will do the job and make the customer happy; that they are helpful, supportive and easy to work with; and finally, they operate a business model that provides attractive prices for the customer and still allows you to add some value and run a profitable business.

These three simple requests might not seem too much to ask for, but there are very few VoIP suppliers that can grant them all to their reseller partners. And it’s important that they can meet all three, because without even one of them, the relationship will struggle to thrive.

First of all, hosted voice services need to deliver good, clear, reliable communications. If there is any doubt about that, you won’t want to recommend them to customers.

You will want your chosen supplier to be professional, helpful and supportive – and hopefully be friendly too. If they are, you’ll be able to build a good relationship and with their backing and support, some decent business as well.

Finally, the value proposition on offer has to work for everyone – for the supplier, the customer and for you. That’s stating the obvious but it is all too easy to be tempted by a service that looks cheap and will be easy to sell, or one that is not that good, but come with plenty of earning potential.

At the end of the day, the supplier has to be able to fulfil all your three wishes, for without them all, it’s going to be impossible to meet the long-term needs of customers and grow your business. This is why resellers should not compromise on their choice of supplier. It’s an important decision and one that’s worth taking the time to get right.
