ONE of Ireland’s best loved retailers is crossing the Irish Sea for the first time in its 50 year history, to open its first UK branch in the North East.
Carraig Donn, which has branches across Ireland, is to open a boutique department store at intu Metrocentre’s Platinum Mall next month.(October).
The popular Irish retailer is renowned for selling a range of products from homeware, gifts to fashion and the new store will be home to a Christmas shop selling their wide collection of festive decorations.
The chain is also home to exclusive international fashion along with jewellery brands such as Momenti, Pilgrim and Knight and Day.

“Carraig Donn is renowned for quality and exclusivity and its’ going to be the perfect addition to the centre’s Platinum Mall.”

By choosing intu Metrocentre, Carraig Donn is following in the footsteps of global footwear brand, Ecco which opted for intu Metrocentre’s Platinum Mall for its first North East store this year.
Australia’s best known children’s stationery brand, Smiggle, also picked intu Metrocentre as the perfect venue from which to sell its stationery, bags, lunchboxes, accessories and gadgets.
