Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Tyneside’s Leading Supply Teacher Agency Scores with New Sponsorship

The region’s largest independent supply teacher agency, First Class Supply, has kicked-off a new sponsorship deal that will see youngsters in North Tyneside kitted out with smart football strips.

Dozens of boys and girls playing at week-ends at U11, 12, 13 and 14 level for North Tyneside Schools Football Association (North Tyneside SFA) will be looking to score in their new tops thanks to the generosity of Whitley Bay-based First Class Supply.

The firm has agreed the sponsorship in a move that will provide new kit for the whole association for 2017/18 football season.

First Class Supply wanted to help after being approached by U11s coach Gavin Storey, who’s also head of Cullercoats Primary School, with a request for some financial assistance for the teams.

The current kit, which has been worn for several years, is a mix of different individual school strips and some of it is falling apart at the seams.

Gavin Storey said: “Boys and girls across North Tyneside will be delighted with their new kit and will be really looking forward to wearing it for the matches.

“We are extremely grateful to the directors of First Class Supply, who have chosen to help us, and will be doing all that we can to ensure this success is reflected on the pitch.”

First Class Supply recruits teachers and teaching assistants for schools across the North East and has seen strong growth as it expands across its three sites.

Director and founder Lesley Robinson said she saw an opportunity to help the local schools participating in the competition and decided to sponsor all of the teams.

She added: “We wanted to help and see that all of the teams were suitably kitted out. We have been working in partnership with most of the schools involved for years, so it’s fantastic to be able to give something back that will help contribute to their success.

“It’s also an opportunity to support grassroots football and the local community while raising awareness of our company and the work that we do.”

As a local company based in North Tyneside, First Class Supply supports its partner schools both individually and with specific initiatives and projects.

The agency already has exclusive sponsorships in place with Seven Stories, the Newcastle United Foundation, and the Newcastle Falcons to support the delivery of bespoke curriculum-based literacy or sports-based packages for regional schools.
