A Billingham business has chosen the Great British High Street of the Year – Rising Star as the location for its latest Salon.

The Wash House recently opened its doors in the 1820s red brick building on the corner of Prince Regent Street and will bring its unique style to the town

“Business has been good so far,” said The Wash House owner, Claire Wilkinson. “I’ve lived and worked in Stockton most of my life and love this town, so when I was looking to open another salon, this was the perfect spot for us.

“Stockton is very much a town on the up and it’s great to be part of the buzz around the Great British High Street of the year win.”

Claire and her team of ten offer something for everyone: “We really feel that we can bring something to the town,” she said. “We have a great team in place and we cater for all clientele, young and old, male or female.

“We are committed to really getting to know our customers and dedicating our time to providing great customer service and great results in a friendly environment. We only use the best Paul Mitchell products and our results speak for themselves.”

The salon specialises in styling, re-styling, colour, bridal, gentlemen’s cuts and children cuts and have a range of special offers on for students and OAPs.

The Wash House is open Monday – Wednesday 9.30am – 5.30pm, Thursday and Friday 9.30am – 7.00pm and Saturdays, 9am – 5pm.
