Tencel fibres are composed of wood pulp from fast-growing trees, which are compostable and can fully revert back to nature. As the recipient of the European Award for the Environment, Tencel is non-toxic and is fast becoming a feel-good sustainable wardrobe choice.
The capsule collection from Weird Fish includes four stylish and environmentally-friendly items. The Shipra Tencel Tunic (£45) is soft to touch, comfortable and hard-wearing. This item has many flattering features, including contrasting colours on the inner cuffs and two patch pockets.
The Shennoy Tencel Tunic (£45) is breathable and highly flexible, making it a good choice for exploring the great outdoors. Tencel’s clever fibres absorb moisture more efficiently than cotton, helping to keep skin cool on warm summer days.
