Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

All Welcome At Jarrow and Boldon Forum

People living in the Jarrow and Boldon areas of South Tyneside can find out what is happening in their neighbourhoods when their Local Community Area Forum meets next week.

At the meeting on Thursday 2 June forum members will discuss a wide range of issues from housing to community safety. Forum members will also receive a presentation on the Council’s Strategic Land Review, which will inform the new Local Plan, which will determine development over the next 20-25 years.

Councillor Jim Perry, Chairman of the Jarrow and Boldon Community Area Forum, said: “Our meetings are an ideal opportunity for local people to find out what is happening in their local communities. We talk about a wide range of issues and the community area forum gives residents to have their say on local issues.

“I would encourage residents to come along and find out more about the consultation about which land in the Borough may be suitable for possible future development.”

Members of the press and public are welcome to attend the meeting which takes place at 5pm, on Thursday 2 June, at Jarrow Town Hall.
