ONE of the North East’s most prestigious hotels is rolling out the red carpet for couples planning their big day.
Wynyard Hall Hotel and Spa, Tees Valley, is holding a Wedding Showcase Evening on Monday, 8 June, for brides and grooms-to-be, keen to find out more about its facilities and wedding packages.
Visitors, who will be offered a glass of Prosecco and a selection of canapés on arrival, will be able to meet the wedding team and then take a tour of the four star hotel.
Among the facilities on show will be the Brooke’s Chapel, used by generations of Marquises of Londonderry and now available for religious wedding ceremonies.
Visitors will also be able to view the hotel’s Mirror Room, Ballroom and Conservatory, which provide perfect settings for wedding receptions or civil ceremonies and will be fully dressed for the occasion.
Wynyard Hall’s Grand Marquee, adjacent to the Walled Garden, is also licensed for civil ceremonies, for parties of up to 200 guests and can cater for up to 650 guests for daytime and evening receptions.
A number of local wedding suppliers will also be on hand, displaying everything from wedding gowns and flowers, to stationery and cakes.
