United youngsters Sean Longstaff, Callum Roberts and Freddie Woodman have all joined Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock on loan until the end of the season.

Managed by former Magpies midfielder Lee Clark, Killie currently sit tenth in the standings – though they are only three points shy of the top half.

Longstaff is the leading marksman for Peter Beardsley’s second-string this term, with ten goals to his name in all competitions.

For Woodman, it is the third loan move of his career so far, the ‘keeper having previously enjoyed spells with Hartlepool United and Crawley Town.

Roberts, meanwhile – who spent a short period with Gateshead during the 2014/15 campaign – has netted six times in his last nine appearances for Beardsley’s side – including a first half winner in Saturday’s Premier League 2 Division Two clash against Brighton & Hove Albion at Little Benton.

The trio could make their competitive bow for Killie when Hamilton Academical visit Rugby Park in the Scottish Cup later this month.
