Agency shortlisted for national awards

CaptureA TEES VALLEY PR agency has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

Experienced communications agency Publicity Seekers has been shortlisted in the PR Moment Awards for the most innovative use of social and digital media.

The company, that celebrates its 10th birthday later this year, was shortlisted for its innovative #EatTweet campaign that took 30 avid social media influencers and treated them to an evening of entertainment and a three course meal, with a social media challenge accompanying each course.

The campaign was to promote Hartlepool’s Flagship Restaurant, a facility run by one of Publicity Seekers’ long-standing clients, Hartlepool College of Further Education.

Samantha Lee, Managing Director of Publicity Seekers, said: “I am so proud that we’ve made it through to the finals in Manchester. It really is well-deserved recognition for the team.

“To be up against massive brands such as Weetabix and Radisson is a great feeling and just goes to show that our campaigns in the North East can compete on a national level.

“The campaign we are shortlisted for was a brilliant success and reached a total of eight million people via the power of social and digital media, resulting in increased awareness and more bookings for the restaurant.”

Publicity Seekers is a well-known agency throughout the North East and works across a range of industries including engineering, construction, education and IT.

Samantha added: “This year is already set to be a positive one, on top of our shortlist we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary later this year.

“This really is our time to grow and continue spreading the word about the great businesses in the region. We can be guilty of being too modest in the North East sometimes and not shouting enough about our successes.

“For any businesses interested in knowing more about what we do, feel free to get in contact.”
