The Annual list is described by The Drum as “Celebrating 50 women under the age of 30 who are blazing a trail in the digital world, challenging outdated notions on their way to the top. ”
Jess was joined on the list by major executives from multinational corporations such as Google, IBM and Smirnoff, top advertising agencies such as Oglivy, and news sources like the Huffington Post.
Her nomination was based on social media work with cutting edge global brands like Dragonfly Tea and Global Underground, together with her digital community work in North Tyneside.
Jess said of the award: “I’m chuffed to be part of the list. It feels great to be alongside these incredible women in digital, and it’s nice to see a strong North-East presence on the list!”
Jess moved to the North East from a senior executive role at the AMS Media Group in London, and formed her own digital organization in North Tyneside.
Director of KISS Copy Steve Erdal, who nominated Jess, said “this is very well deserved. Jess combines the creative and the technical like nobody else, and Captivation is a real asset to the region.”
