Ansvar, a leading specialist charity and not-for-profit insurer and part of the Benefact Group, and ACEVO, the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations, have announced a five-year strategic partnership.
The partnership will help non-profit organisations manage risk and protect their people, property, and assets by providing tailored insurance solutions. Ansvar will support a range of ACEVO’s activities, including its national conference, which brings together over 300 CEOs from local and national charities to connect and engage, as well as ACEVO’s women in leadership meetings.
In addition, ACEVO will provide support to Ansvar employees who wish to become charity trustees.
Jane Ide, CEO of ACEVO, said:
“I’m delighted that ACEVO and Ansvar have launched this exciting new collaboration. This brings mutual benefits to our members and Ansvar employees over a number of years. Establishing shared priorities and goals, and alignment in how to enable leaders to make the biggest possible difference, are at the heart of our partnership.”
Sarah Cox, Managing Director of Ansvar, added:
“I’m a long admirer of ACEVO and absolutely thrilled to be working together to use our collective skills and resources to enable and support the organisations who seek to be of service to others. Already well aligned in our values and goals, together, we are in a great position to make a really significant contribution to the charity sector.”
Pete Johnson, Head of Business Development of ACEVO, said:
“The sector faces a lot of challenges. Leaders and organisations are being tested like never before. In this environment, we need to look beyond our own sector. For a better society (quicker), leaders in the private and non-profit sectors need to work together. This is why I’m so excited that ACEVO has teamed up with Ansvar.”
