North east charity, Nepacs, are seeking donations of toiletries and items for food packs for men and women being released from prison with nothing or very little.
The charity provides a ‘departure lounge’ service HMPs Holme House, Northumberland and Low Newton (women) where the men and women being released from prison can meet their loved ones, arrange transport, or access support. This includes the provision of release packs for individuals coming out with very little and who do not have access to simple items such as toiletries.

Or you can donate new, unused and unopened items to the prison visitors centres, such as:
Toiletries – Shampoo, Shower Gel, Shaving Foam, Face Cloths, Towels, Razors, Deodorant, Body Spray, Toothpaste, Mouthwash
Food packs – Porridge Carton, Breakfast Bar, Tea, Coffee, Sugar sachets, Snack Shot Pasta, Biscuits, UHT Milk Cartons
