Arsenal latest News Updates

Arsenal are topping the news feed this week with the Super League hitting most of the headlines and all for the wrong reasons. In a move that saw Arsenal join a fleet of big name teams like Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid to create an initially exclusive European Super League, fans of rival teams including Middlesbrough and many more used social media to unleash their outrage.

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has been highlighted as a driving force behind the move by Simon Jordan. As the former chairman of Crystal Palace, the team and many others would not have been able to participate due to the strict agendas laid down by the participating bodies. The toll of the disapproval across the majority of the football industry has now resulted in a reversal of the decision to create the Super League, facing yet more backlash from fans around the world.

Rival Tottenham’s Mourinho sacking a blessing in disguise

The sacking of Jose Mourinho has resulted in pure joy for Arsenal fans who don’t want to see their North London rival earn silverware this season. A sacking just before a cup final will surely disjoint the team!

All that being said, for Tottenham fans, the sacking is also a relief, but the exit of the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager now sheds a new light on the future of Emerson Royal who Arsenal would love to see make a switch. The Brazilian player currently associated with Barcelona was a prime target for Mourinho to join the team for a comfortable £18 million, however the manager failed to sign him but now Arsenal could nab the player who could then remain in London.

Now thanks to the timely departure, Emerson Royal is causing more speculation as reports indicate that Arsenal have previously shown interest in the right-back this year!

Odds, Fixtures, and Staying Up to Date With Arsenal’s Form

Arsenal odds are always well worth looking into because you will often find a bargain! For example, Arsenal Vs Everton gives Everton 3-1 odds of winning while Everton is above Arsenal in the league. Arsenal are at 19/20 to win. Although most Arsenal fans will not relish the idea of betting against their team, sports bets are brutal and if you want to make a return in your investment, betting on an Everton win is not out of the questions. Double injury blow ahead of next fixture against Everton

Injuries are never good news ahead of fixtures, and Arsenal now have two to deal with.

Reports reveal that both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will not be in the lineup for the Everton match up.

Continuing to be monitored by medical staff, French player Lacazette was seen limping off the field during the recent match up against Fulham and has not been cleared to join the team this Friday.

A strained hamstring is a painful injury to bear, but the timing is even worse as Aubameyang is also out of action as he continues to heal from malaria. Already missing out on the previous three games, there’s no indication of when Aubameyang will be returning to the field.

However, making a gradual return from an ankle injury midfielder Martin Odegaard has been going through light training although an appearance against Everton still looks like it won’t happen.

Euro 2020 comes in time for return of Tierney

In light of the growing absences from the field, Kieran Tierney is reportedly set to return in time for the upcoming Euro 2020 match ups.

Following ligament injuries earlier in 2021, there was great uncertainty whether the Scottish player would be fit to play in the tournament. However, it has been reported that the defender will be back in training within the next few weeks.
