An award-winning North East creative marketing agency has appointed two new talented members of the team following growth.
r//evolution, the results agency, has welcomed Alec Pritchard as Lead Backend Developer and Oliver Cook as Account Executive to their office at the Northern Design Centre in Gateshead, increasing their overall headcount to thirteen across Digital, Communications, Online Marketing and Design.
With a wealth of experience in web development, across both in-house and agency roles, Alec has worked on many diverse development projects. Asked about his new position, Alec said: “I’m really excited about joining the team at r//evolution. The drive of the business and where they want to go in the next few years is exciting and I wanted to be part of that journey.

r//evolution’s other new addition is Oliver Cook, has joined the team following an internship with the business. In addition to recently graduating from Newcastle University with an MA in Media & Public Relations, Oliver has experience working in customer service and social media and as PR and Marketing assistant at a venture capital firm.
Oliver said: “The internship was an incredibly valuable experience for me. I learned so much – getting to see what life is like working in an innovative marketing agency on a day-to-day basis. I’ve been able to apply the theoretical skills I learned at University, but more importantly I have been able to develop new abilities and experience working with clients. For a successful business like r//evolution to see potential in me is a fantastic feeling.”
