Residents and visitors to Thirsk who want to while away their bank holiday should visit the annual bank holiday market
Hambleton District Council who run the normal weekly markets in Thirsk is holding an ‘Open Market’ on Monday – 28 August.
Established in 1145 the market sells everything from socks to sweets.
All traders whether they are regular traders or casual traders are being encouraged to pitch up and book a place as long as they have public liability insurance.
