Benefit Gig in Aid of Grenfell Tower Victims

A FUND-raising charity gig is being held at the weekend in aid of the victims of the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

Members of the local community are being asked to do their bit to help the victims receive financial help as soon as possible.

Grenfell Tower Benefit co-ordinated by members of Cleveland Fire Brigade Union and Middlesbrough Council – takes place at Stockton’s Georgian Theatre on Saturday evening (June 24).

The one-off charity gig is in response to the tragic fire that took the lives and homes of so many Grenfell Tower residents, with all funds raised going to help those who have lost everything.

The event has also been made possible through kind donations from a range of private organisations, businesses and kind-hearted members of the public.

There will be live music from local band Towzer, supporting acts and live DJs.

A raffle will also be held with prizes including a signed MFC Shirt and free tour for four people, five hours of driving lessons from Malcolm Graham Driving School, a two-hour gardening voucher from L Harris Services Ltd, a four-ball golf voucher from Eaglescliffe Golf Course and jewellery from Whittakers of Yarm.

Raffle tickets are £1 per strip and can be purchased on the night.

For further information or to purchase tickets at £5 each call Marty Pottinger on 07816 879884 or Julie Pearce on 07983 554513.
