Billingham woman wins cruise in autism charity grand prize draw

Marie Smith is the winner of the grand prize draw on behalf of the of autism charity Daisy Chain.

The treat? A cruise for two to the fairy-tale medieval town of Bruges in Belgium.

“Bruges is an absolutely delightful destination for a short break,” said Natalie Wood of Hays Travel Stockton, long-term supporters of Daisy Chain, who have put up the prize.

“The centre of the town features cobbled lanes, dreamy canals, vibrant market squares and historic churches. And what better way to get there than via a pleasant cruise?”

The draw was made by Councillor Ken Dixon, the mayor of Stockton, during a visit to Calf Fallow Farm, the home of Daisy Chain.
