Bradley Hall continues to support local sports

Bradley Hall, which has sponsored a number of sporting people and events in a bid to support local clubs and organisations, has provided sponsorship to Ashington Football Club for the 2016-2017 season.

The sponsorship provided funds to support a number of projects, including new training kits and ground improvements and the renovation of the dugout areas and pitch.

Bradley Hall’s links with Ashington FC came following the opening of its fourth and fifth estate agency offices in neighbouring towns Morpeth, in 2015, and more recently Alnwick. The offices added to the already established Newcastle, Durham and Gosforth operations.

Neil Hart, Bradley Hall managing director said: “We are aware that many grassroots sports clubs in the region struggle to survive because of high running costs, which is why we are happy to sponsor clubs which make a positive impact in the local community.

“Ashington FC is a fantastic organisation which supports local football players by providing a great environment for them to train and compete, so we were more than happy to support the club.”

Ashington FC run two teams including its first team, which competes in the Ebac Northern League Division One, and the Colliers, also known as the reserves, which are part of the Northern Alliance Premier Division. The club also offers training and competing for all age groups, with sessions for under 21s and juniors.

Bradley Hall has also sponsored a number of sporting people and events in a bid to support local clubs and organisations, and this year also provided funding to Morpeth Rugby Club for its Morpeth 7’s event.

Ashington FC chairman, Ian Lavery MP, said: “We rely on sponsorships to maintain the club and its grounds. Our deal with Bradley Hall meant we could provide players with new kits and refurbish the grounds to maintain the standards for both spectators and players.

“Everyone involved is very grateful for the support from Bradley Hall. Their dedication to local grassroots sports is fantastic and we look forward to seeing them at our upcoming matches.”
