His rebounding led the way at JWU along with Blocks (44) and steals (59). Isa shot 51.3 percent from the floor and scored double figures in 25 of 28 games with two 30+ games including a career high of 34 points against St.Thomas University.
Ahead of making his step up from the NBL to the BBL, Brandon said: “I am extremely excited to be joining Plymouth Raiders, it has been a goal of mine to get an opportunity to play in the BBL.
“When my pops and I realised coach Paul James was the Coach here, Plymouth became a top spot for me to sign next season.
“My dad knew coach from coaching against him earlier in the BBL. So he knew the level of coaching here would be great for me as a young player and then my visit sealed the deal.
“I felt the energy from everyone involved and it was all about getting better and overall team success”.
Along side fellow recruit Theo Turner, Brandon attended the recent invitational court session at Plymouth Marjon University and used the opportunity to impress Coach James.
On his decision to include him in next seasons roster Head Coach Paul James added: “I’m delighted that Isa has decided to commit to Raiders for the coming 2019-20 season.
“He knows as a British player that our programme is going to give him the opportunity to play, develop and grow.
“I had the opportunity to work Isa out at the tryout in Plymouth and was very impressed with what I saw.
“He is the son of Jimmy Brandon a former BBL player and Coach. If Isa follows in his fathers footsteps, then we have ourselves a very smart and tough competitor and will strengthen our team for the coming season.
“I’m looking forward to getting started with him.”
