Going into the last set of matches Bishop Auckland A were sat in 3 rd place 11 points behind Ormesby A in second. The first match of the day saw the team of Troy Maddison, Hayden Gilmour, Adam Hanby and Kieron Bowes come up against champions elect Darlington A who came out on top 8-1, before re grouping to beat Ormesby B by the same score line. The last match saw the team meet second place Ormesby A who by this point were only 2 points above them meaning the team needed a 6-3 win at minimum to get second place. The team not happy with a minimum win claim a 9-0 win to secure second spot. The B team who had done superb to get in to the top division saw the promotion of some new players as a reward for hard work in training, Matthew Pearson and Jonnie Maddison showed they were not afraid and took on the challenge and helped in a a 6-3 win over Ormseby B. The last round however was a step to far with a 9-0 loss to champions Darlington.

The young C team of Ben and Amy Mold and Emma Smith had a narrow loss 5-4 to Ryedale before scoring a great 5-4 win over Ormesby C with Emma Smith getting a great win over a higher ranked opponent to finish the day.

The club is open to people of all ages and abilities, running weekly coaching sessions and social sessions and is open to anyone.
