CAMPERS can enjoy all the luxuries of home at the North East’s biggest music festival this summer.
Top stars, including Manic Street Preachers and James, will head to County Durham from 17 to 18 August for the return of Hardwick Live Festival, at Hardwick Hall Hotel.
And organisers have teamed up with leading accommodation company CloudHouses to offer music fans a variety of glamping options, with perks including a private bar, diner and a staffed reception.
Festival-goers can choose from cloud bell tents in various sizes, from the cloud mini which sleeps two people and comes with a Spanish rug and small Indian table, to 4m and 5m tents which accommodate up to five and include insulated flooring and fairy lights.
The multi-pod cloud lodges are new for this year and another option for pairs, with a range of features such as plug sockets, table and chairs, towels, a raised double bed with a memory foam mattress and a bedside table with lamps.
Or, those looking for a high-end experience can treat themselves to a double yurt, with a fitted carpet, sheepskin rugs, lined curtains and a stylish mirror, along with hanging storage, bedside tables and spotlights.
And the yurts also come with top quality Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels for two people, with the option to add up to two more single memory foam mattresses for other guests at an extra cost.
Anyone staying in the glamping field can also make use of a posh loos and showers, enjoy a range of food and drink available at the Paddock Diner and head to the Beauty Parlour yurt before the festival – with hair dryers, GHD straighteners, mirrors and USB charging ports.

Glamping options start at £235 and the campsite is open for festival-goers to stay on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Tickets for the festival need to be purchased separately.
Taking to the main stage across the weekend are The Zutons, Lisa Stansfield, The Sherlocks, Ziggy Marley, Stiff Little Fingers, Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge, Stiff Little Fingers and The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club.
Elite club brands Glitterbox and Retro will also be hosting top DJs such as Joey Negro, Horse Meat Disco, Jeremy Healy and Brandon Block in the Coachhouse Courtyard over the two days.
And organisers recently announced a collaboration with BBC Radio Tees to bring a BBC Tees Introducing stage to the event for the first time, which will showcase music from ten of the region’s rising stars.
Tickets for this year’s Hardwick Live Festival are currently on sale at £55 for one day or £99 for both days. Concessions are available for children and 13-17-year-olds.
