Cascade jumping for Charity

Cascade Cash Management Ltd has named its charity of 2018-2019 and two employees are so excited about it, they are going to jump out of a plane!

The beneficiary of the fundraising activity by the 11 strong team for the coming year is Age UK Northumberland, and to kickstart the activity, Lisa Ewing and Scott Lawson will be doing a tandem skydive over Peterlee this weekend!

The 10,000ft jump aims to raise the first £1,000 of funds that the team hope to donate, with other calmer activities including a Christmas Jumper Day and Raffle and a Quiz night to follow in the year ahead.

The funds will be donated to Age UK Northumberland to assist with the charity’s latest campaign “Everybody Should Have Somebody”. Lisa, who recently attended the Age UK Northumberland dinner with MD Dr. Emma Black, explains further:

“The money we raise will help develop and sustain an all-important befriending service in Northumberland, where there are over 5,000 lonely older people. When I heard about the campaign I knew I wanted to help, so when Emma Black announced they were our charity of the year I volunteered to jump out of a plane!”

Cascade is an independent and transparent service created to generate enhanced cash returns and increased protection on deposits through professional cash management.

The online portal is the only one of its kind in the UK allowing independent and unbiased cash solutions meaning that clients don’t have to choose only one bank. With the online portal and Cascade’s client support team, all banks are accessed quickly and easily, on a daily basis.

Managing director of Cascade, Dr Emma Black, said:

“We are delighted to be supporting Age UK Northumberland for this coming year and hope to raise a significant amount of money. We will also be looking at gifting time to the charity by volunteering to help so the older people of the county really feel our support! When I suggested to the team that this was what we could do, I expected their support but not for one minute did I imagine that two of them would jump out of a plane. I am very proud but also very nervous!”
