CCTV specialists have moved to larger premises in response to increased demand for their products and bespoke services.
CCTV First has acquired and redeveloped a 4,000sqft unit at Gatherley Road, Brompton-on-Swale, to accommodate its growing team as it adapts to changing needs in the market.
The company specialises in supplying CCTV equipment to companies and business owners seeking a solution to security requirements, ranging from deterring thieves and vandals, to monitoring livestock, machinery, or production lines, while also monitoring health and safety issues.
Run by Simon Wane and James Oselton, the firm now has a team of seven to deal with the increasing demand from businesses who have the ability to install and manage their own CCTV systems.
Working with companies’ own contractors, CCTV First provides pre-configured kits and uses the latest technology to set up systems remotely from its offices in Station Road, a combination that saves clients money.
With a bewildering array of hi-tech equipment on the market, CCTV First also advises clients needing bespoke solutions to a variety of issues.
Simon said: “Our aim has always been to talk directly with our customers. We have tailored our website to encourage people to call and discuss their needs. This gives our team the opportunity to provide the right advice and technology to suit the user.
“We have seen phenomenal demand in the past year and our old building on Gatherley Road simply could not hold the 50,000 products we now stock.”
James added: “The extra space has allowed us to increase our bespoke build area, where we programme our video analytic cameras and recorders prior to dispatch. The equipment we receive from our overseas factory doesn’t just get labelled and sent out, we configure and bench test it all.”
The new premises will feature a demonstration room and an outdoor area to show off industrial applications including CCTV columns for demonstration and training purposes.
“Remote CCTV monitoring for business is one of the major requirements these days and the technology we provide allows for this,” Simon said.
“All that is required is broadband or good 4G connections. Our systems can provide numerous types of alarm notifications to mobile devices, laptops or PCs 24 hours a day.”
