Screen Shot 2015-12-11 at 13.40.50PEOPLE who live near to or use Norton Grange Community Centre came along to a special Christmas event to help plan the future of the centre.

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, ONsite and Norton Grange Resident Association organised the fun Christmas event to gather views about the future use of the centre and what services and activities should be based there.

There were Christmas themed activities and games for all the family plus a visit from Father Christmas. Those attending the event completed a questionnaire to give feedback on what services and activities they would like to see at the centre.

Councillor Steve Nelson, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Access, Communities and Community Safety, said: “We wanted to gather views about the future use of the centre, so I’m really glad that so many people have come along to have their say on what activities and services they would like to see at Norton Grange Community Centre.”

Ian Brown, Managing Director of ONsite, said “It is fantastic to be working with the Council and Local Residents of Norton Grange to gather views about the future of the centre. We are all committed to ensuring that there is a thriving mix of activities and services for local residents while ensuring a long term viable future for the centre. This is a really exciting time for everyone involved and we hope to work with the Council to have the centre up and running in Spring 2016.”
