Utilities specialist, Consultiv Utilities, swept the board at November’s Best Companies Awards by winning three prestigious company accolades. Managing Director, Paul Smith, was also recognised personally as one of the country’s “Best Leaders” in 2025.
Announced on Thursday 13th November, the Best Companies Big Reveal awarded three major honours to Consultiv Utilities – “Best Mid-sized UK business”, “Best Company to Work For in the North East” and “Best Utility Company to Work For”.
The national awards, which are based on employee surveys, found that Consultiv’s vibrant work culture, inclusivity and supportive leadership made it an organisation people wanted to work for.

These achievements led to Best Companies featuring Managing Director Paul Smith as one of the “Best Leaders in 2025”, announced as part of a Big Reveal broadcast presented by Best Companies CEO, Jonathan Austin.
