The District Council is joining forces with the Alzheimer’s Society to promote National Dementia Awareness Week from May 15 – 21.
It will host the free sessions at Mercury House in Station Road, Richmond on Wednesday May 18 from 2-3pm, and Thursday June 2 from 10-11am and 2-3pm.
The sessions cover what it is like to live with dementia and how to turn that understanding into action – anyone of any age can be a Dementia Friend.
