From today (Monday November 17), Let There Be Crumbs, Sunderland, will be serving a special afternoon tea, featuring a host of festive favourites.
The tearoom and cakery, overlooking Roker seafront, will also be offering a selection of seasonal desserts and delicacies to eat in or takeaway, all made fresh on the premises.
Those featured in the Festive Afternoon Tea include mini panatone bread and butter pudding with custard, a black forest chocolate yule log, mini winter fruit tarts, Christmas cake and traditional mince pies.
The afternoon tea, available throughout November and December, will also include a selection of seasonal sandwiches, such as roasted turkey with cranberry stuffing and sweet and savoury scones of cheese and wholegrain mustard and cranberry and spiced orange.
This will be served with a choice of Rington’s tea and a glass of mulled wine for £13.95 per person.
Festive Afternoon Tea will be served at Let There Be Crumbs, within the Best Western Roker Hotel, every day from noon until 6pm during November and December.
