St Oswald’s Hospice, based in Gosforth, is inviting people of the North East to their second death café on Saturday 18th May.
After positive feedback from their first death cafe, St Oswald’s is opening their doors again to people of all ages to encourage open conversations about death during Dying Matters Week.
Dying Matters Week, 13th-19th May is an awareness week highlighting the importance of talking more openly about death. The Hospice recognises that it’s not always easy to talk about death but it is something that all of us will experience.
At a Death Café people eat cake, drink tea and have open and honest conversations about death in a safe and supportive environment.
