Joey, aka legendary music producer Dave Lee, will headline the new Dome stage at Hardwick Live 2015.

The festival, which returns to Hardwick Hall, County Durham on Saturday August 22, is being fronted by legendary British band James, with special guests Razorlight, Embrace and many more.

For the first time in its history, the one-day event will also feature a specially constructed Dome, hosting live DJ sets into the night.

Headlining the line-up is Joey Negro who, working under his real name, Dave Lee, was the first to use disco samples in British house music.

Dave has produced countless singles and albums since launching his career in 1988, including Take That’s number one hit, Relight My Fire.

He has also been commissioned to remix artists such as Mariah Carey, Labyrinth, Pet Shop Boys and Diana Ross, as well as achieving chart success in his own right.

Dave has been performing as DJ Joey Negro since 1990, with dancefloor anthems released under this name, including Do What You Feel and Love Fantasy, all making it into the UK top 40.

Hardwick Live organiser, John Adamson, said: “Dave Lee is one of the greatest talents in British music, with a discography that many producers would be proud to call their own.

“His DJ set as Joey Negro reflects Dave’s deep passion for music, from rare disco to classic house and we’re honoured that he’ll be leading the Dome’s evening line-up.”

The Dome at Hardwick Live 2015, will host live music from 5pm until late, with headliner Joey Negro being supported by a host of high-profile DJs from across the North East
