East Durham College are delighted to announce it is offering a new short course in education and training.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is a 12-week course that is a recognised qualification within the education sector and will be run at the college’s Peterlee campus.
The course is an introductory teaching qualification which is suitable for teachers, tutors and trainers who may be looking to work in further education including those who may be delivering work-based training within voluntary, community, private and public organisations.
The course is set to start in January 2017 and costs £396, which can be paid in monthly instalments.
East Durham College course leader for the L3 award in education and training, Nicola Dixon, hailed the course as an exciting opportunity for people in the industry to add to their skills and open the door to teaching in FE.
