TREND setting elderly residents have been painting their own polka dot t-shirts to raise funds for Children in Need.
Staff and residents have been taking part in fundraising activities at Ingleby Care Home, in Ingleby Barwick, Stockton-on-Tees.
Alongside the Pudsey t-shirt painting, they also baked and decorated Children in Need shortbread and cupcakes and wore onesies and pyjamas for the day.
They collected £80 in total.
Kirsty Walsh, activities coordinator at Ingleby Care Home, said: “We wanted to do something a bit different and we haven’t done t-shirt or fabric painting before.
“It was a memorable experience and the ladies loved it.
“One resident in particular, Joyce Marsay, who is a very elegant lady, had so much fun she’s decided to set a new trend and thinks everyone should wear Pudsey shirts.”
