The magic of Christmas is heading to County Durham as Hardwick Hall prepares to welcome festive revellers of all ages to eat, drink and be merry.
The hotel has a packed programme of events scheduled throughout December 2016, with entertainment for all of the family.
Santa Claus, reindeers, elves and fairies will be taking up residence in the grounds of the hotel as the venue welcomes Enchanted Christmas for the first time.
All of the family can enjoy a day out with elf guides who will guide them through a journey aboard the Santa Express train to Lapland where Santa lives in his magic tepee with real reindeer.
Food and hot drinks are available to purchase and there will also be a Santa’s gift shop selling hand crafted Christmas gifts and ornaments.
On Sunday December 4, the venue will play host to a family festive show with singing and dancing to music from all the great festive family films as well as a two-course lunch.
There will also be two family festive fun days at the hotel held on December 11 and 18. These afternoon events will feature face painters, stilt walkers, a magician and a gift from Santa as well as a two-course festive lunch.
For anyone still looking to book their Christmas party, Hardwick Hall also has a number of party nights in the run up to Christmas, and even has a couple of post-Christmas events for anyone who wants to keep on partying into January.
Party nights will be held all month long featuring live acts, tribute bands, 80s and rock ‘n’ roll theme evenings and general disco nights.
There are also a number of lunchtime parties scheduled throughout December.
John Adamson, Director of Ramside Estates, said that tickets are selling fast and advises immediate booking if anyone still wants to secure an evening party spot.
“We have been inundated with requests for booking this year, and even though we have a number of party nights, afternoons and family events, we are already fully booked on several dates now.
“We are thrilled to be welcoming Enchanted Christmas, it’s a fantastic event and it is going to be spectacular. Thanks to this and all of our other events, we are expecting a very busy month.
“Santa, the elves and the reindeers are all getting themselves set to welcome new visitors or all ages, and our team is ready to get the festive season off to a roaring start.”
