Everyone Active Extends Middlesbrough FC Partnership

Screen Shot 2016-04-13 at 11.50.08Middlesbrough Football Club have extended their partnership with national sports and leisure operator Everyone Active for a further two years, in an agreement that sees the organisation become an official partner of the club.

As part of the extended agreement, Everyone Active will continue to sponsor the Generation Red Family Zone, as well as enjoying a range of further partnership assets with the club.

Everyone Active, which has a strong reputation for managing leisure facilities and creating engaging activities to promote health and wellbeing, has been working alongside Middlesbrough FC for the past three years.

During this time, the two organisations have worked closely to deliver activities in the Generation Red Family Zone. The area, which occupies a large section of the East Stand concourse, has been transformed into a colourful space that is designed to keep fans of all ages entertained. Families can access the zone on matchdays and are able to enjoy activities throughout the day.

The partnership has resulted in the Family Zone being nominated for The Football League Family Stand of the Year Award, with the winners announced later this month.

Everyone Active now has a strong presence in the town, having reached an agreement with Middlesbrough Council earlier this month to manage four of its leisure centres and the Municipal Golf Course.

Speaking about the partnership, Lee Fryett, Partnerships Manager at Middlesbrough FC, said: “We are delighted to have extended our partnership with Everyone Active for a further two years. We look forward to continuing our work with them and providing an engaging and vibrant matchday experience for our fans.”

Martin Miles, Everyone Active’s area manager, said: “We are very excited to continue our partnership with Middlesbrough Football Club. On April 1 we formed a new partnership with Middlesbrough Council to manage their leisure facilities, and our work with MFC is a very exciting opportunity for us. We pride ourselves on being a community-focused company and we’re really looking forward to engaging with the supporters in the Generation Red Family Zone and getting them involved in more activity.”
